To open a Coinbase Pro account, follow these steps:
Start by visiting the Coinbase Pro website at pro.coinbase.com.
Click on the "Sign Up" button located in the top right corner of the page.
You will be redirected to the account creation page. Here, you'll need to provide some personal information to complete the registration process.
Enter your legal first name, last name, and email address in the respective fields. Make sure to use a valid email address as this will be used for account verification and communication.
Choose a strong password for your account. It is recommended to use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters to enhance security.
Next, you will be asked to select your country of residence and provide your phone number. Coinbase Pro may use this information for account verification purposes.
Review and agree to the terms of service and privacy policy by checking the corresponding boxes.
Complete the reCAPTCHA verification to confirm that you are not a robot.
Once you have filled in all the required information and checked the necessary boxes, click on the "Create account" button to proceed.
You will receive a verification email at the email address you provided during the registration process. Open the email and click on the verification link to verify your Coinbase Pro account.
After verifying your account, you will be able to log in to Coinbase Pro using your email address and password.
Depending on your location and account activity, Coinbase Pro may prompt you to provide additional identity verification information, such as a photo ID or proof of address. Follow the instructions provided to complete the verification process if necessary.
Once your Coinbase Pro account is set up and verified, you can start exploring the platform's features, including cryptocurrency trading, depositing funds, and accessing advanced trading tools.
It's important to note that opening a Coinbase Pro account also means you have a Coinbase account, as both platforms are linked. You can easily switch between Coinbase and Coinbase Pro using the same login credentials.
